Site stickers, an About page, and updates that arrive by themselves
By releases ·
This update changes where stickers come from and makes the site keep itself up to date.
Highlights
- Site stickers. The sticker picker has a new group, Site stickers, made by the site's admins. Use them in posts, comments and on your profile like your own.
- Updates arrive by themselves. When the site is updated, an open page finds out. If you are in the middle of writing, a small notice waits for you; pressing Update saves your draft first.
New
- About. A page on how webpost.ing is made, linked from the top bar and the bottom of the home page: About webpost.ing .
Improved
- Old pages keep working during an update. A page you opened before an update no longer breaks when you move to another part of the site.
Changed
- The built-in stickers are gone. Pin, tape, paw, star and heart are no longer offered in the picker. Posts and profiles that already used them look the same.
